CycloDS binnengekregen!

Ik heb vandaag ook de CycloDS Evolution binnengekregen via de post. Ik had hem enkele weken geleden besteld bij http://www.consolepro.nl via iDeal. Het was wat laat maar dat kwam omdat de CycloDS Evolution slecht leverbaar was, ik denk dat ik hem toen hij binnen is gekomen ook gelijk heb gekregen.

Review komt binnenkort aangezien ik momenteel geen Nintendo DS tot mijn beschikking heb.

Firmware update; CycloDS Evolution Firmware v1.2

CycloDS Evolution v1.2 BETA #3 - TeamCyclops heeft weer een nieuwere versie van hun firmware uitgegeven. Dit keer worden er een paar bugs gefixt waarbij sommige spellen weer zullen werken. Ook word er een klok aan het in-game menu toegevoegd en zijn er nog wat andere random bugs gefixt.

CycloDS Evolution v1.2 BETA #3 (the third BETA) has been released and is available for download here. We had not originally planned on releasing any further BETA firmware builds before v1.2 final is ready, however due to some recent (and highly anticipated) game releases which are not compatible with earlier firmware versions we felt it would be better to do an interim release fixing compatibility issues with these games rather than making our customers wait. We've thrown in a few new features and other fixes as well

Changes for this release include:

• Game compatibility fixes (Worms Open Warfare 2 etc)
• Updated DLDI driver, will now allow 3rd party loaders such as DSOrganise and DSChannels to load .NDS files
• Time shown in ingame menu
• Folders starting with '.' are now hidden
• Date and time are now set properly for .sav files
• Fixed problem where skin name would always be shown as "Default" on reboot
• Fixed cheat core bug

We plan to release v1.2 final sometime next week. If any bugs are found in this BETA then please let us know so fixes can be incorporated into the final release.

CycloDS Evolution v1.2 BETA #2 - Met de nieuwe firmware voor de CycloDS Evolution is het mogelijk om cheats van internet te halen en op je CycloDS Evolution te zetten voorheen was dit niet mogenlijk. Ook zijn er een aantal games die eerst niet gespeeld konden worden op de CycloDS Evolution nu wel bespeelbaar. Lees voor meer informatie het bericht van TeamCyclops wat hieronder te lezen is.

CycloDS Evolution v1.2 BETA #2 (the second BETA) has been released and is available for download here. The main addition to this BETA is support for user created cheat codes, through our PC-side cheat code editing application. The firmware update, a BETA version of the cheat code editor and some interim documentation are included in the download. Once again, this is a BETA firmware release and as such may contain bugs. Only use this release if you understand and accept the risks involved in using BETA software.

We've added a special feature which we're sure many of you will enjoy - the ability for the cheat code editor to retrieve the most up-to-date codes from the internet and import them directly into your database. You may use this function periodically to ensure that your cheat database always contains the most recent codes.

Changes for this release include:

• Custom cheat code support added (PC-side cheat editor application included)
• PC-side cheat editor can automatically retrieve up-to-date codes from the internet
• Fixed some problems with the multiple skin system. In addition, skins can now be stored at either '\CycloDS\skin' or '\CycloDS\skins'
• Fixed several game compatibility issues
• Separated "Return to Game" and "Return to Main Menu" in the in-game menu to help avoid accidentally executing a soft reset

We will be posting an updated user manual when the final 1.2 firmware build is released. In the meantime, please refer to the included interim documentation for instructions on using custom cheat codes.

Nintendo DS Scene Nederland opent nieuw forum.

Nintendo DS Scene Nederland - heeft sinds gister zijn oude systeem offline gehaald en daarvoor een nieuw phpbb3 systeem geïnstalleerd. Dit ondanks klachten van de webhoster dat het verouderde systeem de servers teveel belastte. Het nieuwe phpbb3 systeem werkt zeer goed en ndss.nl is er van overtuigd zo nog beter de leden van dienst te kunnen zijn met dit systeem omdat dit veel meer mogelijkheden bevat.

Bezoek daarom nu de vernieuwde Nintendo DS Scene Nederland community voor al je problemen met flashkaarten (R4 DS, CycloDS Evolution, Supercard, M3Simply en vele anderen), vragen en problemen m.b.t. de Nintendo DS Lite/Phat en andere vragen over handheld consoles.
